Autumn Shindig

The Shindig is the Schoolhouse's yearly harvest festival and main fundraiser. The day mixes local bands on the outdoor stage with craft and plant vendors, harvest stew and other farm food, sack races, and pie and hot pepper contests.

Gates open in the late morning and the event runs until dusk. The 2026 annual calendar gives the date but not a start time; 11:00 is the gate time the Schoolhouse publishes for the Shindig.
