Fork in the Path runs an all-inclusive campout weekend on the fall foraged treasures of the Sierra foothills: acorns, bay nuts, wild plants, natural sodas made with wild yeasts, and baskets woven from gourds and pine needles. Instructors are Christopher O'Maelmacasa, Abeni Pierson and Carrie Staller.

The venue has a wooden bathhouse with hot showers, a cob wood-fired sauna, a fire pit for music jams and a shaded camping area, about five minutes from the Hoyt Crossing of the Yuba River. Three meals a day are provided from a mix of foraged and farm-fresh ingredients. It starts at 3:00p Thursday and ends at noon Sunday.
