THE KILLER

The Onyx Downtown screens John Woo's The Killer at the Nevada Theatre in a new 4K restoration, the first of two Woo titles from his Hong Kong period. Chow Yun-Fat plays a hitman who blinds a nightclub singer during a shootout and then tries to make amends, with Danny Lee as the detective pursuing him.

The film runs 123 minutes, is rated R, and is in Cantonese with English subtitles. Screenings at the Nevada Theatre carry no age restriction, though not every film is suited to children.
