Most weeks there's live music somewhere in the twin towns five or six nights out of seven. The Miners Foundry and the Nevada Theatre carry the touring acts, the Center for the Arts in Grass Valley books the bigger names, and a rotating cast of bars, breweries, and back patios covers everything else. Summer adds outdoor shows at Pioneer Park and the fairgrounds.
Shows here start early by city standards. Doors at seven usually means music by eight and done by eleven.
